“My art is inspired by Nature and man’s relationship with Nature.  One of my earliest influences as a child growing up on a farm in Southeastern Arkansas was the Rhythm and Blues music of the 1960’s. I did not have a voice for singing so that void was filled with drawings and paintings. When I closely observe my surroundings I see rhythms, repetitions, designs, and patterns in Nature. I want my work to explore the wonders of Nature as well as our attitude and behavior toward our environment.”
