Tom Noll is a self-taught sculptor, who enjoys working with rebar, sandstone and wood to create unique and decorative pieces that can be enjoyed outside in a garden setting, inside the home or office building. His sculptures offer rich possibilities, as they can be enjoyed in their natural state when they rust, or painted in rainbow colors. You can also reposition, re-stack, move or swing the pieces of these sculptures around into the shapes or looks that inspire and move you.
Tom is also known both for his famous Recycled Bicycle Fence when he lived in Manassas, VA and the one in the Bloomingdale neighborhood (Rhode Island Ave & First Street NW) in WDC, which he decorates for major holidays. These bicycle fences were the inspiration for his recently published children’s book series: “Trash to Treasure”- Recycling Creatively with L.T. * “The Bicycle Fence”. This first book won the Gold Mom’s Choice Award for Children’s Picture Book.
