Maryland-based artist, printmaker, and professor Quentin Moseley received his BFA from Syracuse University College of Visual and Performing Arts, New York, and MFA from Hoffberger School of Painting at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Baltimore.
Moseley has exhibited his work at The Delaware Contemporary, Wilmington; Creative Alliance, MICA, Loyola University, and Artscape, all in Baltimore; Zenith Gallery, Washington, DC; Rosenfeld Gallery, Philadelphia; China Academy of Art, Zhejiang; Memphis College of Art, TN; Smith College Museum of Art, Northampton, MA; and World Print Gallery, San Francisco, CA.
Among the awards and honors received by Moseley are a Ford Foundation faculty research grant at Oxbow Press, Hatfield, MA; a visiting-artist fellowship at Brandywine Workshop and Archives, Philadelphia; an artist residency at Rochefort-en-Terre in Brittany, France, to research Neolithic sites; and faculty research grants at MICA to fabricate neon installations.
Since 1974, Moseley has served on the faculty at MICA as a member of the Printmaking Department. He has been chair of the Printmaking and Foundation departments and coordinator of health and safety at MICA.
